This is a match between arguably the very best players running around the Battlefield 2142 landscape in Australia, in Avant-Garde and Delta Brotherhood.

AVANT-GARDE

The powerhouse team from the past two seasons, with a lightning fast attack, excellent squad resource anagement skills and incredible aim. Stretching their wings wit4h a full compliment of armour, their discipline will be put to the test in the new format. The team more or less unchanged from the ladder season, they will take unmatched squad work, hoping to blunt the (db]] attack with teamwork and agility.

1. Bigmoose
A sniper par excellence and a handy RDXer, BigMoose will be without RDX for the tournament. As one weapon leaves his arsenal, he takes on a tanking role to fully utilise Avant Garde's armour as EU.

2. Blackheart
A sharpshooter disguised as an assault kit. Blackheart has previously been an outstanding Squad Leader for Avant Garde. The new unlock rules move him from squadleader to assaulting sharpshooter to best utilise his spearhead abilities without sacrificing a tactical asset.

3. Commodus
An assault player so good, you'll think he's hacking. Commodus is often seen tearing up pubs with massive scores. When the fighting turns hand to hand, Commodus will step up to the plate and you will feel the impact.

4. Foxx
Foxx has enormous flexibility and lightning quick reflexes that allow him to play any role with ease. Normally a support gunner, watch him make a move into a more mobile role in the new unlock format..

5. Martinshki
A walker pilot's walker pilot. Martinshki's shrewd tactics and awesome walker skills have bludgeoned all comers in the Game Arena 2142 ladder this season. The stage is set for a battle royale between Martinshki and Anthrax.

6. Organon
A specialist tanker, Organon steps from the shadows to add monstrous tanking firepower to the Avant Garde team.

7. Wandy
Renowned as the Avant Garde quarterback. Wandy's skills and experience have led Avant Garde to two successive Game Arena titles in the last 2 seasons. His will be calling the shots for his team as the battle plan goes to hell as the first shots are fired.

8. Zzymyn
The A-G commander extraordinaire. All polls aside, Zzymyn is considered the best commander in the business. His new role will be as a fighting, mobile commander..


 
 

 

DELTA BROTHERHOOD

When taking on the Delta Brotherhood, you know you’re going to be up against the best attack in the business, with four or five players in the line up all capable of playing infantry spearhead. The (db]] team brings in some new blood, augmenting the tactical and mech skills and but sacrificing the nuance of cohesion. Will they be able to band together in time?

1. Anthrax
Quick with a rifle, awesome in the gunship, unparalleled in the Walker. Anthrax sets the standard for walker pilots around Australia. Watch for the showdown between Martinshki and Anthrax.

2. BlackJacK
BlackJacK brings the skills of an talented assaulting squad leader to the team. His record with United Brothers speaks for itself.

3. Bourne
Captain of Delta Brotherhood and squad leader to the stars. Bourne has been the driving force behind the Delta Brotherhood campaign of Season 2. His dedication is only matched by his infantry skills, which have to be seen to be believed. He'll cut you in half with one hand, while directing his men around the battlefield with the other.

4. Landaxe
Love him or hate him, Landaxe brings experience and inspiring skills to any team he plays with. His teams are masters at subtle psychological warfare that have the battle half won before they step onto the field. He's talked the talk, now he's walking the walk.

5. Mayhem
Mayhem is an infantry master. If the game has an infantry role, Mayhem can play it and you'd better start running.

6. Rovar
Rovar brings superior tanking skills to the (db]] team. His infantry skills were utilised in season 2, now he brings his forte out when they’re needed most. The best players step up when the challenge is afoot - look for Rovar to shine.

7. xShauniclesx
One of the most feared assault players in the game. His straight shooting and lightning reflexes make him seem super human. A late inclusion into the (db]] team, xShauniclesx makes the transition from hunter to hunted, playing Assault class amongst the rolling armour of Avant Garde.

8. Yakuza
Brought into the Delta Brotherhood fold at the start of Game Arena Season 2, Yakuza has firmly staked his place in the (db]] team, supporting one of the most feared assault teams in the 10v10 ladder.  

 
 
          Result    
          A thrilling match which saw Delta Brotherhood win the first round 70-62 however, Avant-Gande were too stong in the second wining by 44-0, giving an overall match score of 106-70. Consequently, Avant-Garde take home the winners cheque of $300, and $200 going to Delta Brotherhood.
